Year 2 PPA/SLT release - Miss Gallon.
This year we will be learning lots of fun and exciting things, including map making, all about the Gunpowder Plot and designing our own puppets!
I have my leadership time on a Wednesday afternoon and alternate Friday mornings. My planning time on a Thursday afternoon; Miss Gallon will be teaching you at these times.
PE Days - Monday and Tuesday.
Reading books - These will be changed once a week on a Tuesday. Books must be returned to school by the following Monday in order to be changed. Please read with your child every day and read and re-read the same school texts and this improves fluency, recognition of spellings and promotes understanding and progress in writing.
Homework - You will be set homework once a week on a Friday, it should be returned by the following Wednesday. Completing homework in a positive way with your child promotes a love of learning and supports their self esteem.

Beach school - You will be informed by letter of any beach school visits. Please ensure you read these letters carefully as they detail all of the necessary equipment needed for each visit.
